Concrete Bollard Outdoor Lighting
Rapid Effects Outdoor Concrete Bollard Lights are a sophisticated and elegant outdoor lighting solution made from solid, heavily constructed concrete and supplied with galvanised steel base bracket kits.
The concrete light exterior is treated to be water and oil resistant. All natural styles have a satin, clear finish.

Concrete Bollard Base Brackets
The hot dipped galvanised steel base collar kit supplied with each light are hand crafted to fit the full range of Rapid Effects outdoor lights for round, square or rectangular.
Two choices of Base Bracket style are available when purchasing the light fitting, dependent on installation requirements. These are either Flush or Flange.
1. Flush – designed for a seamless finish at ground level. Steel started bars are designed to be concreted into the ground to ensure stability and strength of the fitting. A cut out is provided for conduit cable entry to the base of the unit (conduit not supplied). This method is recommended to be installed in separate installations, to allow the base bracket to set level in the concrete footing.
2. Flange – designed for ground level mounting to a pre-poured concrete footing. Note that conduit entry is required to the base of the unit (conduit not supplied). This option allows for the base and light fitting to be installed at the same time. The flange is supplied with four stainless steel dyna bolts.
Recommended concrete footing size is 300mm x 300mm x 400mm deep in new hard soil. Soft soil beds will require deeper footings.
The concrete lights are secured to the Base Brackets with 4 stainless steel dome head bolts with washers and lock nuts (supplied with kit). Note that the installation of the Base Bracket will determine the orientation of the light fitting and thus the light output direction.
